Soft Foam for Replacing Fibre & Feather Cushions

Traditional fibre and feather cushions can provide a very soft feel and full appearance, but customers sometimes decide they would prefer to replace the existing filling with a foam interior while retaining a softer cushion feel.

A Fuller-Looking Replacement Foam Cushion

The foam core provides the basic shape of the cushion while polyester wadding can be added around the foam to increase loft and soften the finished edges.

Yes. RX36/110 is a very soft seating-quality foam and can be used for seat cushions where a deliberately softer feel is required.

It is particularly relevant when replacing cushions that were originally filled with fibre or feather and where using a conventional firm seating foam could significantly change the character of the furniture.

However, RX36/110 will feel considerably softer than grades such as RX33/190 or other firmer seating foams.
