Soft Foam for Sofa & Chair Backs

RX30/110 is particularly well suited to back cushions and upholstered furniture backs, where comfort requirements are very different from those of a main seat cushion.

A back cushion generally needs to compress more readily and provide a softer, more forgiving feel than the foam used beneath the sitter’s weight in a seat cushion.

Is RX30/110 Suitable for Seat Cushions?

RX30/110 is principally a soft back and padding foam and would not normally be our first recommendation for a main everyday sofa or chair seat cushion.

Seat cushions carry considerably more weight and generally require a foam grade designed to provide greater support and resistance to compression.

RX30/110 is better suited to:
