Rubberised Coir Fibre Sheet for Upholstery
Our rubberised coir fibre sheet, often known as Cocolok, is made from natural coconut fibres bonded together with natural latex.
This creates a firm, resilient sheet material that combines the natural spring of coir with the convenience and consistency of a pre-formed upholstery pad.
Unlike loose ginger coir, which must be teased and shaped by hand, rubberised coir provides a more uniform layer that can be cut to size and incorporated directly into furniture, seating and mattress construction.
It is particularly useful for traditional upholstery, furniture restoration, seat pads, backs, mattress work and firm support layers.
What Is Rubberised Coir?
Coir is the tough natural fibre found around the outer husk of a coconut.
In rubberised coir, these fibres are formed into a structured sheet and bonded with natural latex. The finished material retains the spring and resilience associated with loose coir but provides a consistent thickness and shape.

Rubberised coir is different because the coconut fibres have already been formed into a stable sheet.
